Line and Grid

Who we are

Line and Grid is a trading name of Social Impact Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08995296), registered office 12 Limedale Avenue, Oakwood, Derby, DE21 2UE. Social Impact Ltd is the controller of any personal data this site collects. “We” on this page means Social Impact Ltd.

The contact form

If you send the form, it sends us one email containing what you typed: your name and email address, your phone number, firm and current website if you gave them, which option you’re interested in, and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to quote for and do the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and taking steps you’ve asked for before a contract.

That email is the only copy. The site sends it through our own mailbox at SiteGround, from that mailbox to itself, and it stays there. There is no database and no mailing list behind the form. We don’t sell or share your details, and we won’t send you marketing.

We keep it for as long as we’re talking to you or working together, and after that only as long as we need to for our business records. To see what we hold or have it deleted, email david@lineandgrid.com. We’ll do it within 30 days, usually the same day.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics and loads nothing from advertisers or social networks. The fonts are served from this domain.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and to block abuse, and may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. The contact form uses your IP address for a few seconds to stop anyone sending more than a handful of messages a minute; it isn’t stored. We keep no visitor logs of our own.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. If you’re in the UK and think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab).
